Bill and Simone Evans are the proud owners of W&S Aquatics and have been operators of C-Me Swim School here in Cairns since April 2018. C-Me Swim School was a swim school set up by Bill's mother and father over in 1986. In 2020 the opportunity to grow and improve the swim school and create an all-in-one learning hub drove the move to create The Learning Space. Bill has been involved with the swimming industry for most of his life and has been teaching and coaching for the past 30 years.

In 2020 the opportunity to grow and improve the swim school and create an all-in-one learning hub drove the move to create The Learning Space. Bill has been involved with the swimming industry for most of his life and has been teaching and coaching for the past 30 years. Ten of those years were spent in the UK as Head Coach and Swimming Development Manager for the Harrogate Borough Council. This had him oversee the teaching curriculum across 5 pools which had in excess of 80 learn-to-swim teachers who delivered over 4,500 lessons per week. .
