Hun Martial Arts is a member of the West Australian Karate Australia organisation. The Balcatta Dojo is a family-run business with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the martial arts industry. Hun Martial Arts are aimed at building confidence, courage and character through outstanding achievement in karate. Chief Instructor Peter Szalay is a 5th Dan World Karate Federation Referee with over 25 years of experience.

He is a former Chairman of the West Australian Referee Council, serving between the period of 2014-2021. In 2014 Peter won the Australian Karate Federation referee of the year award.
