About Melbourne Budokai Kenshikan Dojo

The Melbourne Budokai (formerly the Melbourne Kendo Club) is a martial arts club that trains in the Japanese arts of Kendo, Iaido, and Naginata. Our club is affiliated with each art’s official governing bodies and associations at a state, national, and international level. The Kenshikan Dojo has been the home of The Melbourne Budokai since 1990. The Kenshikan Dojo is the only purpose-built Japanese martial art training hall in Victoria.
