The Newstead Tennis & Squash Centre was founded in 1899 as the Northern Tasmanian Lawn Tennis Association. We have two high-quality squash courts with timber floors, quality lighting, a spectator viewing area, change rooms, function areas, and a bar. Members can play casually or join the pennants which are held throughout the year for players of all ages and skill levels. Squash coaching happens every Friday during School Terms by our experienced and qualified coach Robert Clyde.

The Club would also like to introduce our long-term tennis coach Hayley McKirdy. Hayley brings a fun and engaging coaching style to our junior players and is happy to work with senior tennis players as well.
