At Piano Lesson Melbourne I offer piano and music theory lessons, and I encourage students to have fun with music, explore patterns, shapes, composing and improvising as well as more traditional notation and structured learning. When students study music theory along with practical skills, they advance more quickly in their reading, playing, performing, composing and improvising. I studied for a Bachelor of Music Education at Melbourne University after which I taught my specialty of classroom music to primary-aged children (all levels) and junior secondary classes at three different schools over 14 years. I hold a Bachelor of Education which qualified me to teach any primary and secondary-aged classes and so I understand the way people learn.
