Lisa joined The Australian Ballet School in 1978 and after graduation went on, to dance as a Principal Artist with The Australian Ballet and as Senior Principal with the English National Ballet. Now, after many years committed to vocational education and training, I am thrilled to lead the school into the future, following in the footsteps of the three visionary leaders who came before me. Established in 1964, the School was envisioned by The Australian Ballet’s founding Artistic Director, Dame Peggy van Praagh. The School's ongoing commitment to dance and education excellence has been achieved through visionary leadership.
